Welcome to
Resurrection Catholic Parish School

Welcome to Resurrection Catholic Parish School in Tualatin, Oregon. I hope that our site gives you a snapshot of the challenging, spiritual and personalized education that enables our students to shine.  Our beautiful, light-filled school is filled with gifted, caring and supportive teachers who assist our students each day in maximizing their potential.

RCPS first opened its doors in 2013 as a preschool ministry of Resurrection Parish. Through the guiding light of Christ and the cohesive efforts between the administration, teachers, staff, parents and students, RCPS has grown to be an exceptional and nurturing Pre-K-5th grade school where diversity of learning styles is honored and where individual differences are respected.

Our school is a community of faith and learning. We are blessed to have a dedicated staff, committed and enthusiastic families, and curious and engaging students who embody our unique mission every day.  Our shared core values of integrity, humility, hard work, and service are alive in our school  and guide all that we do. When you walk into RCPS, you will know you are in a special place. The warmth of Christ’s love emanates the halls. Prayer is prioritized. Teachers are focused and joyful. Children know they are made in God’s image and that He loves them.

We are committed to offering a strong academic program that teaches the Gospel values, supports the education of the whole child, provides a safe environment, and promotes preparing students to be life long learners and responsible citizens serving God and others. We employ research-based and engaging learning strategies to ensure that we are meeting the needs of all learners and preparing our students for their future. This is the foundation for reaching our ultimate goal of guiding students in the development of their intellectual and spiritual character, as well as, helping them find and nurture their God-given gifts and talents to share with the world.

As the Principal, I am committed to working with parents, students, our community, and the Archdiocese of Portland to create a school where the values of our mission are present in all that we do – inspiring children to excel as confident leaders, critical thinkers, and responsible citizens in a Catholic, values-based, community.  Our small class sizes, coupled with our exceedingly dedicated teachers, allow us to truly individualize learning for all children.

I hope that you will enjoy learning about our school as you visit our website.  I trust it will provide you with a glimpse of the exceptional education our children receive, as well as the nurturing environment we have created. Our parents have entrusted us with the responsibility of educating and caring for their children, and we strive every day to deserve their confidence and trust.

Our Mission

Resurrection Catholic Parish School is a loving, faithful community of students, staff and families devoted to the spiritual, emotional and intellectual development of each child. As unique creations of God, our children are empowered to use their active and creative minds, to grow in understanding and compassion for others and to have the courage to live their beliefs.

About Us

Opened in 2013 as a ministry of Resurrection Catholic Parish, our school was a one-room preschool serving 12 families who trusted and believed in our vision for an exceptional preschool.

Today, Resurrection Catholic Parish School is the only Catholic School in the Portland area that focuses exclusively on the early years of education (ages 3 - 11). In our years of experience, we've come to understand that these early years are the most crucial formative years for each child. These years set a foundation of learning, spiritual growth and confidence for everything to come.  We specialize in guiding this impressionable age group, because the start of your child's school experience should be nothing short of exceptional.
